This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

These guys are great! I donate every year and may I suggest that some of the crafts they sell on behalf of the elders make great Christmas presents?
Time once again to rep my favorite place for giving: anelder.org - they supply food, firewood and supplies for traditional crafting to Navajo Elders. If you have the cash, please give these folks a hand.

@tkingfisher.com I can't remember if you're on the generic or not, but just in case I thought I'd share this Vyvanse recall:

FDA Announces Nationwide Recall of ADHD Medication—Check Your Cabinets Now
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has recalled several lots lisdexamfetamine dimesylate capsules, a generic form of Vyvanse, after testing found they failed to dissolve properly.

Seattle: Our tea house will begin accepting donations on 10/29. We will make weekly dropoffs with Northwest Harvest, but if you are in our area and in need, you are welcome to take directly from the donations bin for yourself as well. We won’t be policing your need.

“I ain’t dead yet!” The dearly beloved Dolly Parton creates a “proof of life” video, assuring those who adore her that, even though she is dealing with some things, she is fine and still going strong 💛

Reminder to the reading public: if you report a book to Kindle for "typos" Amazon may yank it off publication completely and demand the author fixes the "typos". Even if the typos are vernacular English and YOU are the idiot who didn't check a big enough dictionary.
I'd like to give a big, sincere and wholehearted thank you to the reader who's just reported Copper Script to Amazon for errors including "reader doesn't know British English exists", "reader doesn't know the word 'insuperable'", and of course this. For a British book about two British people.

This was so needed. God what a relief. When you make most of your money from $1-10 pledges the apps taking their cut fucking hurts.
Huge news on Patreon! Because of the Apple v. Epic ruling, they are not only dropping the 30% Apple Store charge on the iOS app, they are also halting the move to subscription billing for all creators - which would have affected creators like me, who use a "per video" structure than monthly.

Our local radio station LOVES to play the Billy Corgan cover of "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac and I hate it SO MUCH, partly because of how much I love the original 😤
Fuck your favourite song. Tell me your least favourite song. The one that makes you die inside the moment you hear the first 3 seconds.

I voted “withhold” & sent a separate note to the board registering my dissatisfaction with their stewardship of *our* co-op. There also appears to be a bill in the WA Leg. that would require co-ops based in WA of a certain size to have worker presences on boards. Long shot, but hope it passes.
There’s a vote for the REI Board! If you’re an active member you can vote at vote.escvote.com/REI/

The board has union busted and endorsed Burgum for Dept of Interior. They are unfit for their roles and need to be voted out.
