I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!
Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024 By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1 For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1) And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

Awe inspiring scene last night.

Bioluminescence, #comettsuchinshanatlas, and the milky way all in the same scene.

I'm physically wrecked from the experience, having been up since 4:30am and didn't get home till 12:30am, and grateful to my coworkers for ensuring I could go.

Better edit someday.
Bioluminescence on the left, the milky way in the center, and the comet on the right. There are dozens of shots I can merge into this and I'll have to a better edit someday, but now, there is a working class in which needs serving!

It has been an especially good foliage year here in Vermont! My boyfriend and I went for a walk today and these are some of the colors in our neighborhood. None of these pics had their color saturation tweaked - they actually look like this. It’s really stunning! 🥰🍂

I finally got a library card because I want to read more and motivate myself to take more walks, and I am 100% stanning my local library. They've got a makerspace. They have a dog kids read to. They have an upcoming lecture on haunted lighthouses. I checked out a book on interior design in the 70's.
