Fun Tariff Facts: during the depression the US lost access to many imported paper products. They were replaced with an unusually tough paper stock made of hemp from the Philippines (then a US colony, and tariff exempt).
Anyway, that’s why they were, and still are, called Manila folders /

All I keep thinking about is how Pete Hegseth raised questions of the competency of a Black four-star general and Air Force fighter pilot who was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Hegseth asked did he get the job “because of his skin color? Or his skill? We’ll never know, but always doubt.”

I think it is pretty important for folks to absorb the difference between "we might not be able to stop him from doing this" and "we can't do anything."
You can slow it down, fight it in the courts, shape public opinion and draw attention to raise the political cost and so on.
