Why don't we stop funding private schools and pay teachers more than politicians?
Schools desperate for solutions as teacher shortage nears 'crisis point'
As staff shortages "near crisis point", these Queensland schools are going to extraordinary lengths to put teachers in classrooms — and keep them there.

If many of us are quiet about politics online nowadays, it isn't that we don't care and we're not mobilized offline.

We talked about this for years. We warned them. So many who are upset now did not listen! They thought they knew better than we did.

So much of this suffering was preventable.

The autistic tendency to stay up late because:

- nighttime is when the world finally slows down (quieter, fewer demands, less sensory input)
- you’ve been randomly hyperfocusing
- “do not perceive me”
- SPECIAL INTERESTS! ❤️
- transitioning to bedtime can be hard
- your circadian rhythm is chaos 🫠

I love the sound of the rain. Oh to be cozy in my little van, immersed in it. No people. No talking. Nobody to appease or tiptoe around. Nobody vying for my attention. No roomies or neighbours or parents. Just me and my dog and the rain pinging against the roof, washing it all away.

There are few soil animals as adorable as the 'podgy' springtails!

This Platunurida sp. is a cousin of the famous 'giant' springtails in New Zealand. Instead of colourful spines, it has a flattened body, enabling it to squeeze into cracks in decaying logs where it lives.

There is no reason that people need to be working this much.

People need time off to rest and spend with family and friends.
