All violence, all injustice, all oppression is interlinked. How we treat nonhuman animals sets the lower boundary for how we treat each other. The more cruelly we treat non-humans, the more terrible a weapon dehumanization is.

It’s so sad that we have failed to evolve past the might makes right mindset, esp considering the global uncertainty & everyone’s rights being increasingly threatened by billionaire psychopaths. & now it’s morphing into yet one more toxic feedback loop - ‘we have bigger problems than animal ab/use’

Contrary to what many seem to believe, veganism is so much more than a diet. It’s about abstaining from intentionally causing or supporting harm to all sentient beings. There’s no valid moral argument against that goal. The only honest argument is taste, and a life is worth far more than that.

Veganism is the refusal to support a violent system that prioritizes profit over life and reduces individuals to products and commodities, a direct rejection of exploitation in all its forms.
