It’s all about money and special interests. I suspect if a good investigative journalist were to look into it they’d find that those who want the hunting have supported the politicians backing it, financially or otherwise. What a shame that there aren’t enough journalists chasing stories like this.

No more captive whales or dolphins. It doesn't take a genius to know that a tiny pool is torture to beings that belong in the ocean. Same w elephants, rhinos, etc. We either need to view them in their natural habitats or in pictures. No more animal prisons.
These poor animals will most likely be bred and forced to perform for the remainder of their captive lives. This isn’t living. New place. Same HELL.

I have often wondered the same. It's like they think that's the default and any realization that animals should be allowed to live their own lives is an oddity. Future generations (if we make it that far) will think we were heathens.
