So far this year, 446 major U.S. companies have gone bankrupt, which is 12% higher than the pandemic year of 2020. July's 71 bankruptcies were the highest monthly number since July 2020.

As someone who worked in dealerships for many years in my past, at THAT time (I left in 2015) the average length of ownership before trading in a vehicle was 3.5 years.

Congrats to everyone who put Republicans in charge "for the economy," the first three quarters of 2025 already had more layoffs than any of the years in which Biden or Obama was President except 2009 (when Dems were still cleaning up the prior Republican mess).
