I think this is a lot of why I have gut-feeling concerns about assisted dying.

I am not a doctor, but I am a researcher, and this looks like a well designed study. Definitely going to be using a nasal spray on myself next time I get a cold.

I applied for access to work when I broke my ankle as I needed taxis to get to in-person teaching and conferences. That was in March.
I was discharged from physio followup on Wednesday. On Monday I am getting an assessment call which is the first contact from AtW. The system is dangerously broken.

I get this but also, the instant the lid closes we get booted off the VPN, which then breaks any document you have open from a shared drive. So, I also completely get why you would.
something i hate about offices is how people walk around with their open laptops in hand. all it takes is one walk near the kitchen, a corner drama, and you're really fucked for the day

Honestly this scheme is next to useless at the moment. I applied for help with travel in March, when I broke my leg. It's now October, my leg is nearly healed, and I still haven't even been assessed.
Luckily my employer was helpful and flexible, but many aren't.
