In its annual country report, the US says abortion is a breach of human rights, along with gender-affirming care, DEI programs, hate speech laws, and safe access zones outside abortion clinics.

A sad irony in Washington, D.C., where West Virginia National Guardsmen were shot today. Six days ago, a court ruled their deployment was illegal, but stayed the order pending appeal. My heart goes out to these public servants and their families. oag.dc.gov/sites/defaul...

Interesting and hopeful: some Republicans are not only retiring or quitting, but also planning to skip upcoming votes. A few are even talking about impeachment. Why don’t they just start doing their job?

After ousting the BLS director and scrapping the October jobs and inflation reports, Trump is now canceling release of the advance Q3 GDP estimate.

Trump doesn't mind turning the lights off on the economy because he’d rather Americans not know how badly it’s doing under him.

Still kinda bothered that our president is calling for the execution of folk in Congress who served in the military for encouraging folk to defend the constitution. I can't remember the last time a president did this and I've been around for a while.

Our convicted felon president, who pardoned Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys convicted of seditious conspiracy, wants to charge Mark Kelly, a decorated war veteran and astronaut, with seditious conspiracy.

That’s some next-level banana republic shit right there.

Republicans are starring to realize that Trump could care less about the Republican Party. They are just a venal means to his personal self-enriching ends. They thought they were using him, but are shocked to learn they are being used by him and will be abandoned they second they are of no more use.
