If at least 26 billionaires can waste at least $27 million trying to defeat Zohran Mamdani, then those same billionaires can afford to pay an extra 2% on their income over $1 million to make New York a better, thriving city for everyone — including themselves.

When a network lays off one of America’s greatest satirists, it’s not because he failed. It’s because he succeeded too loudly.

The Laken Riley Act is legislation that may get voted on as early as tomorrow. It takes away our 4th, 8th & 14th Amendment rights(due process) so any police Officer in the country can round people up/detain them indefinitely & deny bail or even their day in court. Everyone's at risk with this bill.

Senator Slotkin showing Michigan why we sent her to Washington!
Watching the confirmation hearing, something that really strikes me-the questions weren’t hard. The answers should have been simple, but Hegseth refused to answer.

Slotkin: Do you agree that there are some orders that could be given by the commander in chief that could violate the US Constitution?

Our nervous systems are precious resources and keeping them in a hyper-reactive state is BAD-real bad. We need to be intentional.

Honestly, I don't know if the people of Michigan deserve a win tonight. Too many of you failed us in November so maybe Minnesota should get this one. They know how to behave.

The Court ruling today is terrible but expected. I will just gently remind everyone that the election hasn’t happened yet. We shouldn’t assume the worst outcome as a foregone conclusion. That only encourages more apathy than many are already feeling.

Huge scoop by Erin Reed.

Ohio and Michigan Republicans announced their intention to expand bans on gender affirming care to everyone.

This isn't about protecting children, and never was. Bans on youth care were the first step of an attempt by the right to legislate trans people out of existence.
