Letter from Trump to the Norwegian PM says since he didn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize he’s decided he wants Greenland.

Even for Donald Trump, this is astonishing behaviour.

“Considering your country decided not to give me the Nobel Prize… I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of peace”.

Putin's little tool Farage is all over our TV screens, so I think this deserves revisiting.

Farage squirms as Rep. Jamie Raskin obliterates the "Putin-loving, free speech imposter, Trump sycophant".

Please share. The news media seem all too keen to forget about Farage's service to Russia.

I understand the pressures on the BBC, but Radio 4's coverage of the Minneapolis shooting is an example of "bad balance".

It's all "the Trump regime says she was a terrorist, but Democrats say it was murder".

The BBC has the footage. It doesn't have to treat truth and falsehood as equally valid.

GB News’ recent Trump interview was outrageous - completely biased and full of lies. And GB News didn't challenge him ONCE. Ofcom MUST investigate them for breaching its rules. Sign now if you agree.

What a surprise-after posting yesterday that there was very little about Prescott or Hanover Communications online, @bylinetimes.bsky.social have been doing some digging and guess what? The so called independent advisor to the BBC is anything but…
🔴 The Pro-Trump Bias of the ‘Neutral’ Sources in the Leaked BBC ‘Prescott Dossier’

Byline Times’ analysis of key sources in the memo about the BBC’s alleged ‘progressive bias’ shows it relied on highly partisan, Trump-aligned organisations.

It’s amazing how often people who profess to care about “British values” will actually support the values of a foreign autocracy, if they think they’ll be making the rules.
The UAE where hugging in public can get you arrested, where human rights barely exist, where foreign workers are routinely abused, where critics of the regime routinely disappear, where an Indian nanny was shot by firing squad in March & where marital rape is not a criminal offence but being gay is.

Did you watch The Hack? I can't believe papers have got away with destroying lives for so long. That's why I've signed the petition, set up by Hugh Grant and other phone hacking victims, to demand fair, independent regulation. Join me: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/a-...
A Free Press, Not a Free Pass – It's Time for Fair Regulation
For too long, the UK press have bullied people, harassed grieving families, and destroyed lives, all to sell papers. We’ve all seen the heartbreaking consequences. They’ve hacked phones, listened to ...

Several media skews & biases here, some conscious, some unconscious.

Even liberal outlets treat these fragments as maybe reflecting public opinion, because they are a vocal noisy niche within the majority group

Media won't do that if 25/50k people protest trans issues, or Gaza, or trade union
I don’t want to be too shrill about this but I think the BBC, ITV and Sky have disgraced themselves in their coverage of the anti-refugee protests. A massive failure of judgement. But now we know the next time a progressive protest “isn’t news” that it’s nothing to do with numbers

This story is so dystopian, using anti-terror legislation to arrest a man for holding up a cartoon from a beloved national magazine at a peaceful demo. I really lost it though when the police got the suspect's name after finding his "senior bus pass"

Shout out to Abdul, a member of staff at Crystal Palace station. I was the only person on the last service - a rail replacement bus which completely failed to stop. Abdul told me to complain to @TfL- which subcontracts this service. And then he DROVE ME HOME. What a guy.

"No Other Land," the Palestinian-Israeli made film showing the destruction of the occupied West Bank's Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers, just won the Oscar for Best Documentary.

It can't get a distributor in the US.

Which tells you everything about censorship in the US.

Notable how far even President Trump himself has travelled on this. In January 2021 he said “To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, you will pay.”

Four years later, he pardoned them.
