To those in Minority Leader Jeffries’ comments demanding more action from him: Congressional Democrats don’t have much power under a GOP-controlled Congress & White House. Demand action from Trump, Speaker Johnson, Senate Leader Thune, & GOP officials; otherwise, not much will happen.
Pete Hegseth must resign or be fired immediately.

Why should any American pay their federal taxes this year if it’s going to be stolen or held hostage by a coup of corrupt billionaires?
The freezing of federal grants, the firing of all inspector generals, the immunization of political violence - does everybody not see what’s happening?

In a blitzkrieg, Trump is trying to collapse our democracy - and probably our economy - and seize control.

Call it what it is.

Attention EU - Ban Elon Musk before he exploits and corrupts your society
Europe could simply ban businesses owned by Musk. Every country doing business with Elon Musk is aiding and abetting his platforming of Nazism. They fear cutting ties because of his monopolistic control over critical infrastructure. When one man holds the keys to the future, accountability dies.

Bluesky was founded by Jack Dorsey (Twitter co-founder) and was financially supported by Twitter as a decentralization project. There’s a lot of resemblance to the pre-Elon Twitter, including proper moderation 👏
This is why bluesky is going to be a success. Real moderation. Libsoftiktok is racist, homophobic, and actually causes harm to others. They can keep their bullshit elsewhere.
Libsoftiktok account nuked by Bluesky moderation when that account had special privileges on Twitter even before Elon.

You love to see it.

President Biden once said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter, but the 2024 election outcome changed the stakes. With Trump’s picks like Pam Bondi as AG, concerns about impartial justice are real. This decision ensures our justice system isn’t weaponized.
IMO, if Joe Biden was planning to pardon Hunter, he shouldn’t have said that he would not pardon Hunter.
December 2, 2024 at 1:12 AM
President Biden’s pardon of Hunter is a reasonable response to the politicization of his circumstances. Justice should remain impartial, not weaponized—a concern heightened under the incoming Trump administration. While I typically oppose such pardons, this decision is understandable.
Biden pardons his son.
