Thinking back to when being "online" was a choice you could make. Is the modern equivalent shutting off all your devices?
We still had mobile phones and SMS during the time period I'm thinking of, so I'm not sure that's quite right.

my dog managed to steal three pieces of broccoli (on separate occasions) during dinner prep this evening. several humans were watching him closely after the first one and we're still not sure how he kept having broccoli in his mouth every time we turned around.

My wife called my from the bike parking area at the gym to tell me her rear tire was flat and it looked like a nasty storm was on the way.
So, what did I do? Set the cargo bike to "Turbo" and loaded up bungee cords, blankets, and ratchet strap...

Commuter rail is not running trains for four hours during the weekdays to accommodate construction. My alternative is to take a local bus that makes 110 local stops on its way to the subway, and then get on a subway train that moves approximately 3mph.
