I think this is a petition many of you can get behind.

It's similar to my petition earlier this year, but focuses on a specific aspect of media regulation: Ofcom rules around political news!

It's only been up a few days, but already has 379 signatures - but I'm sure we can easily increase that!
Petition: Conduct a review of political news regulation by Ofcom
Conduct a review of policy at Ofcom. We think that political news reporting on all channels has become unrepresentative of the public vote at the last general election and that political reporting usi...

They lie about the ECHR.
Just like they lied about Brexit. Claiming if we just got rid of that ‘European’ thing, we’d be free, we’d have control, all our problems solved…
It’s NOT TRUE.
We’d inflict more chaos on ourselves and torch our own human rights framework for NOTHING.
For liars.
Again.
The European Convention on Human Rights is being misrepresented in the UK, says former Supreme Court President Lady Hale👇

Fair Work Agency

This is another benefit of the Employment Rights Bill.

The agency, which has just had its first Chair appointed, will start operating from April 2026 and will be the new body to enforce workers rights - both existing and new rights.

It brings together responsibilities...

New agency chair appointed to crack down on minimum wage underpayment and worker exploitation

Victoria Derbyshire has just said that Labour cannot get its message through because it is being overshadowed by faux shock and outrage from Reform, and yet who decides what news items are being emphasised if not the BBC and the media generally? 1/2

This is a fascinating and scary little video. And what South Korea is experiencing is only slightly ahead of where the UK and many advanced economies are.

Without immigration, we are FUCKED. I mean TOTALLY FUCKED. Yet all parties compete to stop migration. It's madness.

Just to be clear:
- Paracetamol does not cause autism.
- Sadiq Khan is not introducing Sharia law in the UK
- We do not have a massive free speech problem here.
- Britain is not on the verge of civil war.
These are not controversial subjects or contested, they're just not true.

Bear with me, I anticipate your disagreement. There is a clear pattern to the advice given to those who want to press back against rising racism. What it boils down to is that if you point out that racism is often being dressed up as “legitimate concerns” you will alienate people. /1

A word on immigration. Don't prejudge this, just listen to the data, and then consider what the solution is.

The UK has a falling birth rate. This means that - unless things change - each generation will be 25% smaller than the one before.

It's not asylum seekers who jack up rents, undermine the NHS, hold down wages and keep people insecure.
