This is elitist mentality that somehow bicycle users, people who "walk", or public tranist users etc are only entitled to a routes & space proportional to their numbers, but users of cars are granted unlimited space for roads, & parking lots.

I was approached by a lady outside the gym today while parking my bike. She was likely in her 70s. She had such great questions about the bike and then proceeded to tell me about her ebike.
She told me that she rode over 600 miles on it last year and was so proud of herself. She was so happy.

Grassroots activist and local bus riders installing benches because RideKC Transit keep removing them at the request of the KCPD while rides have no where to sit when they wait for their hourly bus.

Sunrise Movement KC, a climate activist group, has been placing DIY benches at bus stops around the metro. Jacob Antolini, an organizer with Sunrise, said the group has installed more than 20 benches since it started the effort last fall.
