When streaming came in they never promised they're ruin films by adverts, or delete them altogether. Many of us threw away their physical media on the assumption that streamers wouldn't deliberately choose to make themselves worse...and yes, must review Ladyhawke too, good reminder!

What's not to love about this movie? Giant dragonfly, sabretooth Alsatian, gratuitous hatchetry -- and it taught me a valuable life lesson at a young age: Find that thing you love and hold it dear.

Today is the birthday of artist Mary Blair (Oct. 21, 1911-July 26, 1978). She produced concept art for Disney classics such as Cinderella, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, and The Lady and the Tramp. She also illustrated children’s books & helped design Disney rides like It’s a Small World.
