15 Nov. Things Which Make Me #Happy.

The mirror sequence in the Marx Brothers’ Duck Soup (1933). I still remember how much I cried with laughter the first time I saw it.

Something unexpected about getting into older movies is having to wait for them. There are still some I'm waiting for Blu-ray releases to even watch for the first time. So, I'm thrilled that another Marx Brothers movie, At the Circus, is coming soon. This one's from 1939.

#MovieReview for A Night at the Opera (1935):

A fun adventure overseas with clever dialogue, fantastic slapstick, and some impressive stunts. I've also come to appreciate the musical interludes in these films.
The contract and stateroom scenes are solid gold and worth the price of admission alone!

Of course, the best thing about devoting a podcast episode to some of the Marx Brothers’ radio appearances is that you can play the clips. Which means that our guests for this episode are the Marx Brothers themselves.
