The Trump admin is dismantling Freedom of Information Act offices. Then the offices send out emails like, “Hello, the FOIA office has been placed on admin leave and is unable to respond to any emails.” The lengths this admin will go to ensure zero transparency with the American people is astounding.

More folks need to be reading the details of these abductions and the abductees' experiences in these jails. Horrifying.
Unreal: the story of an Australian MMA coach sent to a harrowing detention prison upon arriving in the US with a visa to lead a seminar.

In case you had any doubt if it’s worth the risk of trying to enter the US unless absolutely necessary.

Politicians aren’t nearly outraged enough at the Trump regime disappearing these students of color. I’m not qwhite sure why?? But I bet we’d hear a very different tune if these students had the complexion for protection.

Where are the free speech warriors? Where are the anti-tyranny folks? smh

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.

Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

9 of the top 10 poorest states are Red states.

Blue counties are 71% of the U.S. economy while Red counties are only 29%.

So if you ever wondered how stupid Trump’s tariff & trade war is, consider that he’s destroying what little economic opportunity Red states have, rather than admit he’s wrong.

Congratu-BLEEPING-lations!

It’s time we had a little talk about your use of expletive infixation.

‘Expletive infixation’ is the linguistic term for profanity inserted into a word for emphasis.

(For this thread, we’ll use 'BLEEPING,' but feel free to substitute another word.)

Trump imposed 10% tariffs on Heard & McDonald Islands—uninhabited Australian territories populated by penguins & seals—but 0% tariffs on oil & gas companies & 0% tariffs on Russia.

The man who went bankrupted 6 times is dead set on bankrupting the entire USA.

Please Liberate us from this stupidity

Arresting someone for calling you fascist seems an excellent approach to proving their point.
Former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe was arrested at a city council meeting after stating, “MAGA is explicitly a Nazi movement. You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that is what it is,” before engaging in peaceful civil disobedience.

You are right. But it's 2025. Talking about it as if it will happen is how politics works. It also forces right wing media to talk about it and if there is enough Dem proposed legislation, Trump and Elon have to respond to the Dems rather than vice versa
Given that the Republicans have leadership & a majority in both chambers, such legislation proposals would just be symbolic efforts that won't even make it out of committee.

It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours, and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic.
