Here's my PDF of the Trump allegations and associations timeline with linked citations.

Many outlets have listed all of these in long, scrolling pages. I have yet to see one put their design staff to the task of making a single encompassing graphic. Publishers, consider it!

It is important to promise, now, that whatever Trump builds at the White House will be torn down as soon as he leaves.

Total success to the first college/university that pledges to be AI-free and brand it as an opportunity to receive a real education.
My employer, Dartmouth College, today boasts it's 1st Ivy "to launch AI at an institutional scale." It is doing this by partnering--"more than a collaboration"--with Anthropic, a company that stole the books of many faculty, me included, which many of us are suing.

"the tech is inevitable" is not the winning argument you think it is in this debate*

microsoft should offer a version of all of their products without copilot. call it "nopilot" edition or something. give the people what they want!

which is not to have copilot, which sucks, in their lives.
everyone wants Copilot to go away

This is exactly what the bosses who put Trump into office were trying to achieve. Crushing the tight labor market from the early Biden years that gave workers - for the first time in my adult lifetime - leverage over their bosses.
NEW

US labor market flows remained sluggish in October data released this morning, as hiring slowed to nearly the lowest level since early COVID

The hiring rate fell to 3.2%, layoffs rose to 1.2%, quits fell to 1.8%, and job openings rose to 4.6%

This is Alina and Vladyslav. Russia ended their lives in Kherson few days ago..
She was 34. He was 6.

On 26 November, a Russian attack drone targeted a civilian car in Kherson.
Inside were 34-year-old Alina — a nurse who cared for stroke patients — and her six-year-old son, Vladyslav. 👇

Like, Microsoft has invested so much in this that it seems they are now compelled to put it everywhere they can in their new operating system. I can't find any enthusiasm for it anywhere; no lists of favorite Copilot "agents" to set up, no tutorials on how to do cool things with it. No one wants it
the AI bubble is crazy bc like AI just came out of nowhere and it's stupid and obviously not as good as anyone thinks it is and no one wants it and somehow it is propping up the entire economy rn even tho it's literally terrible and dumb and, again, came out of nowhere

“[Eventually] humanities depts will be forced to accept AI-authored assignments, as part of revised university policy to cooperate with these billionaires. It's already happening, and our response needs to be decisive. Because our students' ability to *think* is at stake.”

really important thread ⬇️
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.
