i went back to try and re-read just what the bc code of conduct for registered psychologists says about friendship (or generally non-romantic relationships) with former clients
i am sure i saw it was forbidden for life, except when unavoidable in a small community

oh dear lord my eldest is now signed up for a 124 mile ultra trail run, over highly technical and remote terrain, with 8000m total elevation gain, and a 48h cut-off
he happily takes on a level of athleticism and sheer physical pain i simply have no concept of
