Everybody should play Freezeezy Peak at this time of year at least once.

It's Twinkly season after all.

Our trusty "pda" is kinda similar to the Pip-Boy, a useful device with a lot of handy features.
Who likes scanning enemies for example?

A lovely retrospective on the 360, pretty much my favourite console of all time. I still have my slim edition but seeing the original white edition with its box, the green and orange baggies, etc. brings back a lot of good memories.

Opening a boxed and unused Xbox 360! They released it two decades ago now, so this was the perfect time to unbox a 60GB Pro model, set it up, enjoy the Blades, and play some games. While HOPEFULLY avoiding red rings. Jump in!

Your art is not slop, your doodles are not slop, your left facing portrait with no background is not slop, please stop referring to your own works as slop because you are sending a message to other artists that their hard work is also slop. Save it for the AI plague that is actual slop.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Happy Half-Life 1 Day. My favorite game of all time.

Celebrate by watching the most insane thing I ever got to make, until a year later when I got to do it again.

Many people don't realise how climate change is already - not in the future - affecting our lives. And it's doing so in ways that, once our eyes are opened, we can notice!

For example, food. h/t @climatecentral.org

Hey all you gamers claiming to "want shorter games made by fewer people who are paid more to work less" here's your chance to put your $15 where your mouth is: a spooky & elegiac exploration game made by ex-Bethesda & Ubi devs. It's excellent. Buy it & prove there's a market for games like this!

the ttrpg session was postponed because we're bunch of tired people in their late 20s and early 30s, long shift leads to overslept and fatigue, silver lining is I could throw another hour at character building that nobody will ever see not even the dungeon master.
