Stuff like this is tragic for those involved in the development because so many, myself included, will see "Gen AI" and never give this game another look. It's toxic.
TiGames, the developer of rabbit-starring action game Zoopunk - one of the eye-catching trailers in Microsoft's Xbox Game Preview Event yesterday - has defended itself amid allegations of generative AI use. https://bit.ly/3LQskFH

Blender is struggling. it's the best piece of 3d software on the market, and it's free. I'm not going back to autodesk.

I understand when people think that this is going to bounce off Trump too, but know that most of those in power who seem to support him also hate him and fear him. They're just too cowardly to do anything. If the momentum shifts, they'll all turn on him in a heartbeat.

The Epstein Ballroom always and forever.
Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

Just got a message from Microsoft saying that my Game Pass Ultimate subscription won't be increasing in price as long as I don't unsubscribe. This is in Europe.

A new effort to retain subscribers? I was expecting the price increase at the next billing renewal and I was planning to drop Ultimate.

It genuinely is haunting me that so many people are turning over their lives to OpenAI without thinking for a moment about "huh, what would happen if this company turns out to be evil."

Often these are even people who do think that Meta is evil - they're just totally unable to extrapolate!
Oh boy, like, it's obvious that employers want to just own labor in the form of AI, and that that is the entire game

Finished Mafia: The Old Country. Great story. I really enjoyed it.

A little too rigidly linear for me though. I'd have really enjoyed the opportunity to take my time getting to the next mission and explore a little, but you almost never feel like you have that option.

I remember reading about Russia entering dictatorship under Putin.

For a while, the TV satirists could still make fun of him. Then they couldn't. Shows went off the air.

That's when a lot of people understood they now lived in a dictatorship.
