Head of NASA Sean Duffy intends to destroy a satellite that collects key data on carbon dioxide and plant health, by causing it to burn up in the atmosphere. The U.S. Dept of Agriculture and private agriculture firms use the data to forecast crop yield, drought conditions and more.
Why a NASA satellite that scientists and farmers rely on may be destroyed on purpose
The Trump administration has asked NASA staffers to draw up plans to end at least two satellite missions that measure carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, according to current and former NASA employees.

I’m shocked having someone write your essay doesn’t make you smarter
New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.

Look, even Harlan Crow can’t afford a house for EVERY judge’s mom
Stunning. May was brutal for Trump in federal court: 96% loss rate ⚖️. Even GOP-appointed judges have ruled against the admin 72% of the time. District courts are doing their job defending the Constitution. Soon the Supreme Court may be the only court unwilling to defend the rule of law.

Maine and Vermont, among others, likely to be super hard hit by this
A couple nights ago CNN did a clip about a vacation rentals guy in Maine who was explaining that literally all his Canadian business had cancelled and he was going to get wiped out.

He didn't blame them, either, probably because they all called him personally to cancel and were polite about it.
I still don't think Americans appreciate the degree to which Canada is in the midst of a total anti-American vibe shift.
