This is SOOOO beautiful!! 🤩 It's always interesting to see very organic things (like moss and mounded-up dirt) rendered in LEGO. I think it was done super effectively here - the whole little scene carries a lot of emotion.
31 Ancient. I wanted something special for this final prompt. I started this design in dark tan to show its age, then made a pristine version. Finally I put it on a base, posed it lying down, and built up a landscape around it. A very fun way to wrap things up. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

Saw a great blue heron chilling in the creek earlier today, looking grumpy and standing very statue-like. Reminded me that I've been wanting to rewatch The Boy and The Heron.

17 Duelist. While I normally try to keep to using only what I consider reasonably cheap and accessible parts, I made an exception for this hat. The build would work just fine with another hat, or an entirely different head, but this one just suited it so nicely. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

Day 26: Superliminal. This took a heck of a lot of work; I'm amazed I got it done in time. I took the ship design from day 18 and created a stop-motion animation, rendered out frame by frame, of it arriving from FTL travel, then disappearing once more. #LEGO #Shiptember #Spaceshiptember2025 #SST25

Was stunned by the beautiful sky this morning when I went to the gym. Looking into it, it seems this was a conjunction with the moon, Venus, and the star Regulus. Lucky it was clear as well! 🤩

My first time playing Alloy Hearts, I rolled up a (very cool) cheerful space pirate with a sporty black & cyan mecha with swarming drones. I named her Concertina. Sadly, she became my enemy... and then she was killed. 😭 I decided my character would take one of her small drones and keep it always~

Here's another combat group, this time for the Khuraltans. Both this and the EDSC group are ~$40-45. Here the IFV carries three bases of infantry, and the ICV carries another four. I don't know if that'd balance out well against the EDSC, but it'll be a while before I'm ready to playtest them. #LEGO

Walking around PAX with little Chie and Kanji is a core memory for me. 💚🖤 His grumpy little frown and her big vacant grin were a perfect contrast, and we got such a kick out of playing with them as we walked around the expo hall. Love this plush series so much!
Our Persona plush collection started at PAX West... oh I can't remember how many years ago now. Chie and Kanji at first, then Yukiko and Naoto. Makoto and Futaba were ordered separately, joined most recently by Akihiko and Aigis. Love 'em all—hoping for Mitsuru and Junpei soon. #sanshee #collectjoy
