For all the anglophones who don't keep track of Mexican politics:
-Yes, MORENA (the ruling party right now) sucks.
-This protest is organized by a lot of right wingers and outright fascists who want to capitalize on the "Gen Z" movement that has shaken Nepal, Philippines, Morocco, etc.
Security forces clash with protestors outside the National Palace in Mexico City.

I don’t place my hope in Congress because almost every rep and senator is owned by billionaires. There’s really no way that the ruling class is going to allow the will of the people to hold. Form your militias now. ICE is about to expand by more than tenfold.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.

The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.

They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.

Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

Fix that.

This exactly. The human race has story after story warning how power and money corrupt, about the ways evil worms its way into our souls through greed and ego.

And yet, here we are again.

AI is bottlenecked by limits in data availability, statistical mechanics, & computing. Improvements will be expensive & incremental, not fundamental.
