Morgan developed his argument in this 1972 article which is very much worth reading. Basically, racialized slavery "solved" the political "labor problem" that modernizing European societies were grappling with. You could get labor, w/o giving those laborers rights. personal.tcu.edu/gsmith/Gradu...

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

the training thing is a useful instrumental lie to hamstring DHS ability to put goons on the streets and expand legislative oversight.
