I get the pushback to Bluesky in that it further bifurcates our media ecosystem. But at this point, Twitter’s content moderation is so nonexistent and its verified users so extreme that the choice becomes either move away from Twitter or be subjected to straight up 4chan nazi bile on a daily basis.

Trump is the first post-truth candidate and we still have not adjusted. He simply says whatever he thinks people need to believe, and since he’s so painful to listen to for people who aren’t his cultists, people just project whatever they want into the gaps.

Not only this, but we must plant the seeds of trees we will never sit beneath. It's an extremely selfish, self-defeating viewpoint to think we fight only to make things better for ourselves. We need to lay the groundwork for a generational struggle that we may not ever feel the benefits of.
