Even if you ignore the insane power usage, and the IP theft, and the workforce damage, the amount of fraud and abuse that gen ai enables is inexcusable and inextricable from the technology as long as it exists.

There's a class of searches where asking a LLM chatbot beats a search engine. Some searches have been SEOd to death and LLMs haven't been monetized in that way yet. Plus a bunch of LLM slop results looking for your clicks.
But even better is that same search engine query with "reddit" appended.
