A few years ago I splurged on a nice OLED for my bedroom to watch movies and at the time it felt extravagant but when you watch something like The Batman and the blacks are perfectly black and the reds pop right off the screen? Bliss. I love watching stuff on this screen.

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

DOJ has posted a couple more batches of Epstein files and they look like grand jury testimony.

Right off the bat, I want to know why they redacted the names of Assistant U.S. Attorneys. That seems entirely unnecessary.

David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

He should absolutely be fired by NYT for this. Major conflict of interest that he didn't disclose.

Oligarchy (noun):

A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.

U.S. military spending is set to hit a record $1 trillion.

Roughly half of defense spending goes to private contractors that routinely price-gouge the government.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has failed seven straight audits.

This is the military industrial complex on steroids.

A Take: While the plot didn’t continue, Maul being in Solo was a nice confirmation that live-action Star Wars would acknowledge events from the animated series, something that wasn’t 100% guaranteed at the time.

Yeah. I can't really think of any reason *not* to expect this.
I'm not an 'there won't be elections' doomer. I'm a long-term doomer. I think the pendulum will swing back and Dems will regain power and then face an even more hostile press than before and won't have the votes to restructure the courts and we'll be in this awful cycle for the rest of my life.

During the shutdown, the Senate approved adding $32B to Trump's already record breaking $1 trillion Pentagon budget.

The Senate still hasn't voted on extending ACA subsidies — which would cost $35B.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
