Asperger was a Nazi eugenicist who wanted to eliminate neurodivergent people. The diagnosis has been removed from the DSM 5 in favor of autism spectrum disorder. In this case, I’m not sure if he is autistic or just an antisocial prick, but the association with a Nazi is fitting.

This is in Sandman #17. I remember reading this as a teenager and feeling gross and uncomfortable about it then, and it's even worse now. People have been sus about Neil Gaiman's use of sexual violence in his works for awhile now, and the new information doesn't surprise me.
