I've been to some countries where people live under military rule or autocracy. And without fail, one of the questions I get when they ask about life in the U.S. is whether it's true that Americans just let homeless people die on the street.
During freezing temperatures in Port Arthur, Texas, a 61-year-old homeless man was found dead in his wheelchair outside a convenience store.

He was wearing a hospital gown and no shoes. Authorities say he had been released from a hospital the previous day.

This is a diseased society.

The video for El Apagón includes a great documentary on the climate crisis in Puerto Rico, including the energy injustice issues referenced in the halftime show.

ICE plans to buy 23 warehouses across the country to convert to jails AKA concentration camps, would be largest expansion of immigrant detention in modern history. But these landlords don't have to sell: protests are erupting at these flash points- join them - #NoNewJails #AntiICE #FreeThemAll

Massive warehouses should be used for #raving and #urbex, not concentration camps. WE NEED A MASSIVE #NoNewJails campaign #FUCKICE
Most of the windows are not accessible by foot but the ones that are have been mostly covered. I found a section without covers — the inside is still empty but you can see the roll-up garage door leading to the next section of the facility. The back of each section also has huge roll-up doors.

I have incarcerated comrades & loved ones who are enduring the daily torture of US prisons. They also continue to make art. They often don't have the proper supplies and yet they make it knowing that it will never make it out to anyone else. But they continue to make art nonetheless. Keep making art
