The best article written about how Obama colluded with mayors of major cities to take down encampments was written by someone who is now a total nutbag, so we cannot promote it.

Occupy Wall Street was intentionally memory holed by the fed govt under Obama and local mayors of big cities in the USA.

It has been nearly a year since Starbucks has offered us a single proposal to finish the remainder of our union contracts. The company knows where we stand: we need fair wages, better scheduling, and an end to union-busting.

Instead, Starbucks is fighting US, their workers.

Bargaining started in April 2024 with more than 150 baristas in the room. They reached 33 tentative agreements on noneconomic issues. But under CEO Brian Niccol, Starbucks reversed course and refused to negotiate on wages, hours, or staffing.

Third demand: address hundreds of unresolved unfair labor practice charges. Judges and the NLRB have repeatedly found that Starbucks violated labor law. Workers have filed dozens of new complaints since the new CEO took over.

Second demand: higher take-home pay. Thousands of Starbucks partners rely on SNAP and Medicaid because their wages and hours are too low to cover basics like rent, groceries, and healthcare.

Workers’ first demand: enough hours to qualify for the benefits Starbucks advertises. Many baristas cannot get the 20 hours needed for health insurance. That includes parents caring for kids with chronic health needs.
