I will never vote for Gavin Newsom anyone who thinks trans people are actual humans will follow suit.

Articles like this are just normalizing eugenics. So much research is showing covid causes chronic illness comparable to the AIDS crisis in severity, cancers, heart disease, etc. I'm disabled and lost 2 disabled family members to covid. Masking is survival for me and I'm tired of being belittled.
Hey look, it’s The Atlantic continuing to marginalize people who don’t want to get infected repeatedly with COVID.

You know, this patronizing story pairs well with new reporting about long-term damage from multiple COVID infections.

Arkansas Republicans just voted to dismantle their state library at the Capitol, pushing a bill that could strip funding from public libraries & censor any books they don't like under vague "age-inappropriate" rules. It now heads to the Arkansas House. The GOP’s continuous war on knowledge continues

This right here is the entire issue. At this point, apparently everyone has a unique blend of 'weird stuff' we believe in.

Even during my recent bullshit spree, someone correctly called me out like, "now I've seen some shit, but I have never seen a defense of A used against B *and* against anti-B"

While I agree with this—that people often underestimate the number of kids with disabilities—I also think they believe that disabled kids don’t deserve an education. That they are unworthy of an education because they are disabled.
The contempt they have for disabled children is rooted in a mistaken belief that there aren't too many of them.

Estimates show that between 1-in-8 and 1-in-5 students in America have some kind of learning disability.

There are an awful lot of SPED families out here, and we will *fight* this shit.
Jessica: When I hear Republicans out there talking about their plan for education in America, I don't hear them talking about making sure disabled kids have access to a public education.

Greg: Because we're against it.

Tariffs and bans are policies of fear. They happen when we are scared that another country’s innovation has surpassed our own.

The best response to competition? Investing in your own science, technology, and education. That’s true courage.

Leaving aside any other issues with this, and there are many: only about half of US citizens have a passport.

Happy travels!
I just checked in at the Atlanta airport and the kiosk wanted me to show a "passport or permanent residence card."

The airline rep who was helping me said "I don't know why it's doing this it's been doing it all morning."

When it started in the 1970s, EPA began Documerica, a landmark photography project to record the state of the environment and efforts to improve it. Over 15,000 Documerica photos are available online as a visual baseline to compare how our environment looked before the EPA. Everyone should see them.

This is a civil rights issue. That's the start and end of the conversation. Change "trans" in their bullshit to "gay" or "Black" or "women" if you're not quite sure why there's no debate on this.
Trans rights are human rights. They are non-negotiable.
Not to mention that Harris didn't once say anything overtly pro-trans during her campaign.
man he really hates trans people huh. what is going on in your head where you think harris was one charlie kirk beer summit away from flipping all the swing states she lost?
