My parents sent me to a private school - but I convinced them later to let me go to a state school because I objected to the private system.
And I still got into science at Cambridge.

Had it not been for immigrants, Contributing to Glasgow society, I would've had a miserable 58th birthday. Drinks were served to us by a Spaniard, My meal was made by Italian's, One of my party is Polish, Went to another bar staffed by a plethora of immigrants, Staff in Glasgow Central were Asian.

"In local news, Trevor still hasn't had that roofer out yet but he has picked up a nice overcoat from a charity shop for £20 & a PC screen 'riser' from Aldi, reduced to £4.99. I could never shop at charity shops or Aldi myself but I suppose they're ok for people on modest pensions in the north"
