Happens so much in gaming now. Yes, video games have always adopted new tech, and AI like machine learning has been a part of that. Hell, Rogue used generative algorithms in the 80s.

But the use of GenAI in gaming is new, and quite different. Although companies using it love to say it isn't.
Conflating machine learning tools with GenAI and LLMs are such a favorite of these bad faith arguments, too. Like, machines studying X-rays to better understand cancer is not the same thing as Open AI swallowing all my books via piracy to regurgitate sentences that sound similar. It's just not.

Not happy about it, but I called it: the Wisconsin guy whose wife got scooped by ICE on their honeymoon still doesn't regret voting for Trump.

MAGA is a cult and what we know is the worse it gets, the more cult members double down.

Stephen A. Smith's call for the Democratic Party to clean house seems relevant today: "The Democratic Party is in a bad state right now. The whole damn thing needs to be purged. I'm dead serious. They need to go. Those strategists fire every damn one of them. Get rid of them."

Question: Did Valve reach out to you or did you reach out to Valve to mark the reviews as off topic?

I just did the same and there are 37 game keys they owe me. Where's my copy of Darksiders 3, Humble? You're selling Steam keys for it right now in your store but somehow haven't been able to give me the one I paid for in over 4 years? This company is a scam.

humble's business model is now

- when we sell you a game, we might not actually have keys available for it
- if you wait a few weeks, we might send you an email saying we have keys again. better be fast, though!
- if this process takes too long, we have no obligation to give you the key you bought

Given how Humble Bundle lost out on charity bundles to other places, and was literally just recycling bundles this month, they're toast.

I can't imagine how much the servers take to host it all, but download your library now and save your keys elsewhere. The site is officially on borrowed time.

it’s so weird that humble has yet to get in trouble for selling keys they dont have .

some past Humble Choice months ive been waiting on keys for 3+ months. noita (purchased from the store!) took over three weeks. it took about a week to get keys for the current programming bundle.

Well, I didn't know humble bundle keys could expire or downloads become offline...
If you are like me and only redeem the keys that you are actually going to play, you might have lost several (old) titles now...
Better do something about it

Humble Bundle changed its terms of service back in December.

Unused game codes now expire after 3 years and in cases where the retailer is out of stock and alternate keys are "not available", Humble says that it is "not obligated to provide them."

Seems bad: www.reviews.org/au/games/hum...
Humble Bundle is getting worse (and everybody knows it)
Ever wonder what happened to all those games you picked up over the years through Humble Bundle? You might not like the answer.

Multiple Paradox Interactive games have been review bombed:

Hearts_of_Iron_IV
Europa_Universalis_IV
Crusader_Kings_III
Victoria_3
Imperator_Rome
Stellaris

It appears that some Chinese players are upset with Paradox Interactive over Hearts of Iron IV's depiction of historical Chinese territory.
