Beer Lover, Sci-Fi & gaming nerd, Irn Bru addict. Probably talks a bit too much about Yorkshire. Assistant Brewer at a Liverpool microbrewery. Slowly migrating from the other place due to crazy overlord. All views are my own.

PERSON OF THE DAY. 15 November 1897. Aneurin Bevan was born in Tredegar, Wales. He spearheaded the creation of the NHS in 1948 by the Labour government. It offered treatment free at the point of delivery to all citizens, irrespective of income. It’s one of the key social reforms in British history.

Polite reminder that if you are waiting to get into a restaurant or similar at this time of year. Please don't queue with the door open. You might not be doing it on a purpose but it's a bit thoughtless letting cold air in!

Watching this for the first time tonight. Going in blind. It features Wedge Antilles, a time travelling doctor .some other big names and Mark Knopfler did the music. So this'll be fun. In fact the theme by knopfler is my only exposure to it haha.

Usually around this time of year I like to enjoy firing up classic PS1 game MEDIEVIL. Pure classic! Funny and charming. I always thought it had been influenced in the best sense by a nightmare before Christmas. It's perfect for these darker evenings! And created in the UK by some super talented folk

I saw an X reg Mondeo saloon today. A saloon of all things not even the hatch Mondeo.

It made me feel ancient. That was new when I was leaning to drive. 😂
