And so the new model emerges: subscription to life itself. Not ownership, but access. Not possession, but permission. A society where everything you use—your home, your tools, your entertainment, your transportation—must be continuously rented from the titans who own the infrastructure of existence.

As you see what the new owner of CBS/Paramount Larry Ellison is doing to 60 Minutes and CBS News, please understand he is planning to do that to Tik Tok as a new owner and what he will do to CNN if can close deal to buy that network. This is how oligarchy works. And Trump/Vance are 100% on board!

From 2018 to 2024, the tax rate paid by eight major retailers was slashed from 30% to just 17.5%.

The CEOs of those major retailers were paid a collective $1.3 billion.

Meanwhile, the average worker at those stores was paid less than $32,000 in 2024.

Nothing trickled down.

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism.
That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone.

If you think switching which corporate owned legacy media outlet you consume is the solution, you don't really understand how deep the problem is. It's not just ABS, CBS, WaPo or the LA Times. It's the system in which they work.

The only solution is to support pro-democracy independent media.
