Are you active-duty military worried about being deployed to quell protests? Service members concerned about illegal or unjust orders can call the NLG Military Law Task Force at (619) 463-2369 for a referral to an attorney to discuss your rights. @nlgnews.bsky.social

"There is a way for universities to fight back... They must abandon all the concerns — rankings, donors, campus amenities — that preoccupy and distract them, and focus on their core mission: the production and dissemination of knowledge."

This is horrific though not surprising. A North Dakota jury has done the bidding of the oil pipeline company and claims the Indigenous-led movement at Standing Rock was somehow instigated and led by Greenpeace. At once racist and designed to silence a major environmental organization.
🚨BREAKING🚨

The trial verdict is in. A jury in the Morton County courthouse found Greenpeace International and two Greenpeace entities in the United States liable for over US$ 660 million combined in Energy Transfer’s meritless SLAPP lawsuit.

bumping this from three weeks ago in light of Elon Musk busting out a LITERAL FUCKING NAZI SALUTE at inauguration
*Elon Musk goes out in public wearing a t shirt that says “I am non-ironically a Nazi”*

Mainstream media: what an inscrutable, mysterious man. Whatever could he mean by this
Elon Musk has changed his X profile.

His avatar is now Pepe the Frog, a mascot adopted by white supremacists.

His name is a Latinisation of “Kek”, a phrase used by neo-Nazis.

Musk has also backed AfD in Germany, the political home for racists.

The man is telling us explicitly what he’s about.
