I accidentally took my mother to see Basic Instinct when it came out because she was a Michael Douglas fan. I can safely report there was nothing woke about it. It was misogynistic, homophobic, and just shy of pro-r*pe. I can't imagine what the anti-woke version will be like. I'll skip it this time.
