Last night I was wondering at how vTNS had virtually eliminated my erythromelalgia flares and thinking I could talk to my pain doc about reducing some of my meds.
This morning I woke up because of full body, aching nerve pain.

It's interesting how all the people who complain about how disabilities or illnesses have become identities seem fine with people identifying as well, healthy, or normal. I think if anything there is a much larger identity politics of this latter sort.

I know someone who died *this year* because his heart gave out after being weakened by polio when he was 5-yrs-old.
He spend the year prior to his death traveling to multiple states trying to find a doctor who knew how to treat the symptoms of Post-Polio Syndrome.

A few years ago I tried to create a tumblr called “jewsreconstructingjudaism” where I posed quotes from Reconstructing Judaism’s “A Guide to Jewish Practice.”
Unfortunately, it took way too much typing… mostly because the entire book is amazing.
