America is waking up!

Rep. Ashley Hinson got heckled at her own town hall in Decorah after praising Donald Trump and the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that just passed the House.

Iowa, y’all!

I am still convinced there are some prominent standard-issue republicans who are currently regretting letting the maniacs off the leash. They’re not gonna DO anything about that though, because they are terrified little babies.

The measles outbreak in Texas is reminding me of the public letter Roald Dahl wrote about losing his daughter to measles in 1962, just before the vaccine was publicly available.

A new North Dakota bill would require stores to pull any book with any "material harmful to minors" from the shelves.

For those in the cheap seats, that effectively means ANY mention of sex, sexuality or gender.

A bookseller could be arrested for displaying 1984.

Port: It's not just about kids, and it's not just libraries
Legislation under consideration in Bismarck wouldn't just restrict access to books in schools and libraries. The language of the bill also applies to private book stores.

Just got the dreaded email. University of Iowa is halting all NIH grant submissions.

Losing a generation of scientists here will send the state backwards. What a travesty.

Every elected Democrat needs to repeat this until even head in the sand voters understand what is happening.
No one elected Elon Musk.

As Donald Trump allows Musk to access people’s personal information and shut down government funding, Republicans in Washington will also own the consequences.

We must do everything in our power to push back and protect people from harm.

Whatever your opinion about the Hunter Biden pardon, if it gets more attention than the Kash Patel nomination, it is one more instance of a failure to distinguish between fundamental and trivial threats to the rule of law.

Hi everyone.

The Onion, with the help of the Sandy Hook families, has purchased InfoWars.

We are planning on making it a very funny, very stupid website.

We have retained the services of some Onion and Clickhole Hall of Famers to pull this off.

I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
