Paul has been talking about the tax loophole that Seattle country clubs have been enjoying for a while now but WOW I did not know how big

This is Broadmoor Golf Club. It's a gated right-wing enclave for the rich in Seattle. The golf course is 7 parcels, 122.2 acres. It's assessed at just $76k/ACRE!

Welp, after years of planning, pots of dedicated funding, promises that despite other elements getting yanked from the plans that sidewalk repairs were still on the table, the only sidewalk on LWB that got repaved this year was the segment right in front of Bruce's house.

WA Democrats who voted with Republicans to condemn socialism:

Marie Glusenkamp Perez
Kim Schrier
Marilyn Strickland

(Rick Larson and Suzan DelBene did not vote)
Not two weeks after a democratic socialist is elected mayor of New York City, 86 Democratic House members vote to 'condemn socialism.'

this is what #OneSeattle really preserved: an unsustainable status quo centered on - urban cannibalism
Instead of building a new 5 story apartment in a single family neighborhood they are going to graze an existing 3 story apartment.

Seattle's school streets are supposed to be fully closed to cars during school hours but I counted one car every two minutes on McClure Middle School's "closed" street. There are no driveways on this street so this was entirely through traffic.

Seattle used to fund so much transit service until covid (and jenny durkan)

In 2019, almost 75% of the city lived within walking distance of a bus every 10 mins or better. Today, it's only like 50%!

Time to get the buses running again!

We need to push state electeds (including Gov.) across the state to go on the record in support of significant new progressive revenues. And anyone who doesn’t support deserves to be challenged.

Woah, what the hell was that? Bruce just said that there are people telling him not to concede because there were "anomalies." That's a wild and irresponsible thing to say.

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

Please check your ballots to make sure they were counted. It takes 5 minutes. And fixing issues is just as quick.
There's still a lot of curable ballots from Seattle (about 1,800). Most are unsigned or signature mismatches, and most skew younger.

Many people think this race could be decided by only a handful of votes (here’s former Seattle mayor Greg Nickels). Have YOU checked to make sure that yours was counted? Check our link in bio to check on your vote with King County elections!

Check your ballot. It’s possible that it’s been challenged due to leaving the ballot envelope unsigned or a signature mismatch. You can cure that with King County Elections so your ballot is counted! kingcounty.gov/en/dept/elec...
