This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.

wait you’re telling me that this simple task I’ve been putting off for two weeks, that has tormented me like a two hour task, only took 30 seconds to complete? If only there were a valuable lesson I could learn from this.

Ah well. Nevertheless.

This @nytimes.com story about chronically late ppl having “different time personalities” is perfectly calibrated rage bait for me 😭

Trump winning in 2020 would have been a better outcome. He would have had to navigate the post-COVID economy, done a shitty job, and we could all be very pretty catgirls now.

Vancouver council is debating a giant permanent sign that says "VANCOUVER", and staff say an issue is putting the sign in a place that won't interfere with film shoots.

In other words, a giant "VANCOUVER" sign could interfere with vancouver's lucrative business of pretending to be any other city

One of most alarming red flags to date. Not so much for the impact, but for what it says about Trumps’ footsoldiers’ devotion to his cult of personality. This is full-on dictator mythmaking.

There's a place in the city I used to live. Every Friday we'd go there for beer cheese and pretzels. Every week. They had them ready when we came through the door. It was the best beer cheese I've ever had in my life.

They closed down and I never got the recipe. I am haunted by this regularly.
