An unfun fact about programming languages is that different languages have different rules about what counts as a line ending character (e.g. U+2029 PARAGRAPH SEPARATOR)

I was discussing with a friend last week how it seemed like they were not selling at sustainable prices relative to competitors. Oops?
NEW: Rad Power Bikes has told employees it will go out of business in January without new funding.
The company said in a staff email that it had a "very promising" option to stay alive, but whatever that was, it fell apart.

Related to perhaps my biggest parenting fail moment, where I tried to explain the distinction between swears and slurs, went on an overly deep digression about the civil war, and briefly had my half-listening son thinking that the white people were the enslaved ones
Our goal was that our kids not be the ones teaching the swear words to the other kids on the playground. I think we succeeded in that.
They are 16+ now and well beyond our ability to have much control of their media consumption.

Non-parents, please understand that there are two choices with young kids:
1) let them interact with other kids, at which point they absolutely will learn about the existence of age-inappropriate media (FNAF, South Park, etc)
2) a level of social isolation that is both abusive and impractical
