I'm actually curious what you think 3.7% GDP means, if not the amount that it's growing by. Percent of what?

There are places where getting 80% of the way to the final product yields 80% of the value, but video generation seems like the absolute opposite of that
Seedance 2.0 is an obvious upgrade, but once again you can see obvious problems that ruin everything and bizarre choices that I think were made by the model.

Again, uncanny valley but for performance.

(Also, check out the loveseat cockpit. Innovation in defense!)

If you retire at 65 with $300k home equity and $700k of investments (millionaire!), a safe 4% withdraw rate = $28k/year, plus ballpark $3k/mo SS = total $64k/year, an amount that elsewhere on this site is described as literally poverty

My wife's coworker got a single concussion and has been in and out of disability leave for 18 months. Not typical, but a single head injury can be very very bad

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Wait, has this always been the behavior?"
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Why are you people so stupid and incompetent?"

I'm curious how you wrote the "howto-typescript" document. It's an interesting mix of stuff I see agents do anyway without instruction, style, and correctness.

Me: Yeah, so you go to a panel of lawyers with the proposed salary packages, present your comparables, but if you won a Cy Young then you get to use bonus comps from free agency, which normally -

Wife: baseball, the sport?
