Good evening Bluesky. What do you think is the sharpest rise in quality between a first album and a second album?

My choice is from "Frank" to "Back In Black" by Amy Winehouse.

Good morning.

This is your reminder to get to the gym so that you can beat up racists if you have to.

Ok, who had on their bingo card MJT becoming a woke transit, healthcare defending, social justice warrior against human trafficking?
Trump take air travel.

So even MJT have to take train.

"Far-right Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was on Amtrak Crescent traveling from DCto her home state, and she was enchanted. “The sweetest people run the train,” she posted.

I have two and a half questions to this…. How and why was a child alone in a car long enough for this to happen?
Did they not look to see if something was in the car? Dog, child, granny etc

Dublin clampers towed away a car with a child in back – again. After two similar incidents in 2023, DSPS, the council parking enforcement contractor, put in place procedures to keep it from happening again.

The private ownership claim to Lough Neagh (Loch nEathach) originates with Sir Arthur Chichester, English commander during the Nine Years’ War and one of the architects of the Plantation of Ulster. There was even an attempt by colonists to rename the lake ‘Lough Chichester’.
“Main cause is an overload of phosphorus & nitrogen from agriculture, including farm runoff, fertilisers & animal waste”.

The price of our current model of industrial farming is the death of nature. Is that *really* a price worth paying?

I interviewed then housing minister Darragh O’Brien and put it to him that these illegal short term lets could be brought back to the rental market with the stroke of a pen. That it wasn’t done shows the “we’re doing all we can to fix housing” line was a lie.
All Airbnbs being rented year round are in contravention of planning laws. Houses built for private residential tenancy need to apply for change of use. If you built a house without following the rules it could be torn down. We could solve this Airbnb problem overnight, there’s no political will.
Rental crisis to intensify as ‘starved of supply’ housing stock dips below 2,000

Friend walked into a pub in Cork with a huge army greatcoat on, old lad at bar perked up and exclaimed: "COMRADE! WHAT NEWS FROM STALINGRAD!?"
Was in Doyle's once and a lad walked in wearing a black leather jacket, black t-shirt and *tight* black jeans. When he got to his table, one of his mates looked up at him and went "Look, it's Sandy from Grease."
I am calling upon the people of Ireland to immediately begin construction of a thread on this site about how you or someone you know was roasted for a fashion choice. We need it.

All roasts must have come from Irish people *only*. Please respect this important rule, it makes a difference.
