Our behavior toward each other is the strangest, most unpredictable, and most unaccountable of all the phenomena with which we are obliged to live. In all of nature, there is nothing so threatening to humanity as humanity itself.

In a world flooded with propaganda, staying grounded means slowing down, questioning gently, & leading with empathy.
Truth doesn’t fear scrutiny and lies should be recognised and exposed.
Read deeply, think calmly, and stay kind. That’s how we keep our footing in reality!

He is a computer safety researcher.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

F'n degenerates.
No, no, no. Senate Democrats secured the concepts of a plan for a handshake for a promise to hold a vote they will lose.
Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Historic administration, but never in a good way.
Reporter: A new report shows 150,000 job cuts announced in October. That's a 175% increase from the same time last year, 183% higher than what we saw just a prior month in. This is now the highest job loss in October since 2003

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

SNAP has existed for 60 years. Benefits have gone out every single month over those six decades, including during government shutdowns. Until now.
Make no mistake: The money is available to fund SNAP during this shutdown. Trump is making a choice to withhold it.
Don’t forget this.
