I think the nicest thing about Bluesky is that I enjoy sharing other people’s artwork again. It feels like it matters, and we’re not all swimming upstream against each other up some horrible algorithmic torrent. I can be like, “Hey this is neat, I bet someone else will, too,” and just hit repost.

This is about writing, but I share this sentiment about artists, too. This is why I tell you to ignore comments from internet strangers. It’s not criticism, just empty feedback. Ask your colleagues, your editors, your directors, your collaborators, your peers. Ask people whose experience you value.
