For anybody asking “who the hell is this guy anyway?” here are four video games I worked on.
All right, mea culpa. I was wrong to assume that the president had no idea how to provide jobs.

This feels like a heist movie targeted at people who haven't yet grasped object permanence, but it's so shamelessly corny and ludicrous it can't help be kind of fun

The Kama Sutra (Graphic Novel Edition) and An Introduction to At-Home Taxidermy
Prompt: if you had to performatively display two books that you wanted the NYT writer profiling you about your career ending scandal to notice, what would they be?

Co-signed. Over-correcting “friction” is usually framed as being on behalf of the player, but it’s more often a lack of confidence in the player or the creative team.
I think it's okay if players who don't pay attention get lost.

One of the clever decisions I forgot to mention: the steam controller has IR LEDs so it can be tracked by the VR headset just like the included controllers.

Will probably be rarely used by developers, but when it is used it could be very cool. (Do any PSVR2 games use this well besides Astro bot?)

Valve's announcement of new Steam hardware makes all the right choices, and actually makes me feel a little less irrelevant

Have you ever been in the middle of writing something and suddenly think, “man I’m tired of hearing myself talk.”

Since the lyrics of “Smooth Criminal” were inspired by Resusci Annie, I think we need Taylor Swift or somebody to make a song about FAST signs that somebody’s having a stroke.

If any other Disney adults have been wondering how to break the fever and turn back into a (relatively) normal person: turns out it’s as simple as getting a job with the company and being laid off.

It’s not even bitterness, in my case, more of an explosive decompression of interest.

This isn’t that surprising, since the show itself seemed to clearly be saying “no, this is the last episode for real,” and it was only the press releases that were making it sound still alive.

Bonus: I don’t have to keep paying for Peacock!

A big part of the appeal of the Steam Frame is never having to use a Meta device ever again.

Plus I can *finally* finish Half-Life: Alyx, still the best VR experience I’ve ever played, but always gets me stuck halfway through when my natural lack of coordination betrays me.

Lol when I say I feel like a man living between two worlds: half of my social media is going nuts over the Steam hardware announcements, and the other half are losing their shit over the announcement of a Devil Wears Prada sequel.

This reminds me of a huge part of why I disliked Prometheus, and had an uncomfortable feeling of “wait, do I actually like this?” during much of Predator: Badlands.

So much of what makes these properties work so well is the intrigue of everything you don’t know.
