The idea that “WE SHOULDN’T NORMALIZE TRUMP” is utterly deluded. He is normalized, he is the president by the failure of US liberalism, Black and Brown coworkers of mine voted for him.

But Mamdani meeting him and being cordial is somehow normalization or bending the knee? Ludicrous

Only reformist social democrats normalize fascists and treat them with respect, they will always betray the working class unlike true revolutionaries…

Working people have been left behind in New York. In the wealthiest city in the world, one in five can't afford $2.90 for the train or bus. As I told Trump today— it’s time to put those people right back at the heart of our politics.

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we remember the bright and courageous trans people whose lives were stolen by hatred. Their absence is felt across our city.

We will honor them by building a New York where every trans person can live safely, fully and freely.

Today, union stores in 25+ MORE cities are joining our national, open-ended ULP strike!

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

Chicago had a corporate head tax for years, and ending it shifted the cost onto regular residents. Bringing it back would apply only to the largest 3 percent of companies, not small businesses.

Working people shouldn’t face higher property taxes or grocery fees while wealthy corporations get tax breaks. Companies like Amazon and JP Morgan Chase rely on Chicago’s workforce and services, and they can afford to pay more.
